Tips for Identifying Counterfeit Rolex
Maybe you are not a watch fanatic or you have immersed yourself in the age of depending on our phones for timings. However, you must have heard about Rolex watches because watches have been there before mobile phones and people have used them for a very long time before the dawn of mobile phones era. Rolex replica watches are famously known for their status and symbol. Many celebrities and influential people buy Rolex watches because they are of high quality and last long. They are also made of quality material to give them a good look which is both attractive and durable. But wait do you know that the market is full of lazy people who wait for the best product to be designed and they go-ahead to produce counterfeit products which are difficult to differentiate from the original ones. One of the most counterfeited products in the market is the Rolex brand. However, I would share some tips on how to differentiate between a fake Rolex from the original one.
The fake Rolex is extremely cheap and easy to identify because first, their quarts have dial movements. While the original Rolex has smooth hand movement, the fake one has a second-hand movement which slitters along inside. An original Rolex watch has no ticking noise and if you buy a Rolex watch and find out that you can hear a ticking sound, then it is counterfeit. Listen closely before paying for any Rolex watch.
Secondly, pay attention to weight because original Rolex watches are heavy but not too heavy. The Fake ones are generally lighter because the copy cats cannot afford high-quality metals which are used to make original Rolex watches. Everyone who produces counterfeit products is out there to make quick money and trust me they have no time to look for quality materials and accessories to assemble the product.
Thirdly, pay close attention to the winder on the watches’ side. Original Rolex watches have a finely designed and crafted winder with grooves and engravings. They quite show an excellent work of art. On the other hand, fake Rolex has simple basic winders which move minute and hour hands. They do not have engravings or grooves which are well designed.
Finally, when you keenly look at the Cyclops lens of the real Rolex watch, you will find that they magnify the date. It is close to impossible to replicate Cyclops. The counterfeits Rolex watches show the date as they are because the manufactures skip the step which is difficult to copy.
Having known the four ways to identify the counterfeit Rolex watches, you can now comfortably own an original watch without struggling to identify it. Look and listen to the ticking sound following what I just told you
