Hotel and travel business turnover in Hanoi rises 18.2 percent
In September, the number of foreign tourists to Hanoi reached approximately 92,000 arrivals. This brought the total number to 898,000 arrivals in the first nine months of 2011, a year-on-year increase of 6.7 percent.
In addition, hotel and travel business turnover over the past nine months has increased by 18.2 percent compared to the same period last year.
Currently, the city’s tourism sector is striving to build specific tourism products to promote in the major markets of Australia and Japan in order to fulfil the target of welcoming 1.75 million foreign arrivals and 11.5 domestic arrivals in 2011.
